POSTED March 19, 2014 / Tags:

Gluten Free Garage is a pop-up gluten-free marketplace that has become a fixture at Artscape Wychwood Barns. For their third edition in Fall 2013, over 65 vendors came together to showcase Toronto’s best gluten-free products. Around 1,500 guests attended to tummy-friendly treats and learn about celiac disease and gluten intolerance.

Christina and Michael’s steampunk wedding was a whimsical day at the Artscape Wychwood Barns. The cocktail hour featured food vendors from The Stop’s Farmers’ Market, tunes from Toronto DJ Roozbeh Nayeri, and a choreographed waltz for the couple’s first dance. Afterward, they headed over to The Duke of Somerset for a late-night afterparty.

Check out the bride’s awesome wedding day recap on her blog!

The wedding was fantastic. Our venue—perfectly-slipped-into-existence-at-the-end-of-the-Canadian-industrial-revolution Wychwood Barns—was bathed in sunlight as we arrived.

On January 23, Target Canada announced $250,000 in funding for Pathways to Education’s Healthy Minds program at an event at Daniels Spectrum, Pathways to Educations headquarters. Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons was the event’s special guest, inspiring the crowd with his opening remarks and acting as the evening’s master of ceremonies.

Guests got to know more about the impact of Pathways programs from youths whose lives had been impacted by them. The event took advantage of the built-in bar in Artscape Lounge and augmented the space with bright pop-up counters to accommodate a plethora of tasty treat.

The first annual Artscape Extravaganza: Hall Pass treated tuxedo-clad guests to a back-to-school adventure—a party in the halls with no detention that raised $375,000 the Artscape Youngplace capital campaign. We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this goal without our Hall Pass sponsors URBANCORP, THE DALTON COMPANY LTD., Alterna Savings and BMO Financial Group.

Extravaganza took advantage of the unique layout of Artscape Youngplace to create an event unlike any other this city had seen.
