Artscape Wychwood Barns is a former transit facility that has been transformed into a hub for arts, community and the environment in midtown Toronto. Since opening in 2008, the Barns have become one of the city’s most unique event venues. Its soaring ceilings, abundant natural light and architectural detailing create a dramatic backdrop for all kinds of events. The Barns are home to artist studios, not-for-profit organizations, indoor and outdoor growing areas, a gallery, a popular farmers’ market and exciting community events. It is one of the first heritage buildings in Canada to be certified LEED Gold.
Artscape Wychwood Barns operates as a social enterprise. Revenues from venue rentals support the building’s cultural programming and services.
